Sonoma Humane Society, Healdsburg Center

The Humane Society of Sonoma County, a no-kill shelter founded in 1931, is situated at 5345 Highway 12 West in Santa Rosa, close to Sebastopol. At 555 Westside Road, we inaugurated our Healdsburg Shelter in 2016. Our goal is to provide every animal with protection, empathy, love, and care.

We are a multi-purpose organization that promotes animal welfare; we offer dog training courses in the hopes of educating pet owners on fundamental dog training to help prevent animal surrender and promote lifetime commitments from owners to their pets.

In the unincorporated regions of Sonoma County and the City of Santa Rosa, Sonoma County Animal Services is dedicated to providing the public with care and assistance for domestic and livestock animals.

rescuing these abandoned and abused animals who have been found wandering around our streets and roads. Our funding helps them find safe, devoted, and long-term homes as well as medical attention.

Our goal at Countryside Rescue is to save homeless, abandoned animals. We are dedicated to making their lives better, ensuring their safety, and finding them devoted, lifelong homes.

Cats that are not "owned" and have little to no chance of getting spayed or neutered or obtaining medical care are the focus of Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.
