Animals in need on both sides of the border have better futures thanks to Compassion without Borders. We concentrate our efforts in areas where animals most need need medical care but are also least likely to receive it owing to financial, geographic, and cultural limitations.

Cats that are not "owned" and have little to no chance of getting spayed or neutered or obtaining medical care are the focus of Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.

3. Dogwood Animal Rescue Project

Dogwood Animal Rescue, a distinctive non-profit animal rescue group based in Sonoma County, California, fosters animals, which means they are cared for in volunteers' homes until they are adopted.

Our goal at Countryside Rescue is to save homeless, abandoned animals. We are dedicated to making their lives better, ensuring their safety, and finding them devoted, lifelong homes.

Located in Sonoma County, California, SNAP Cats is a special rescue and sanctuary that Darryl Roberts established in 2013. SNAP Cats, which has campuses in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol, rescues special needs cats from all over the world, cares for them, and then places them in reassuring homes. We think that EVERY cat can find the home they deserve if given enough time.

The Humane Society of Sonoma County, a no-kill shelter founded in 1931, is situated at 5345 Highway 12 West in Santa Rosa, close to Sebastopol. At 555 Westside Road, we inaugurated our Healdsburg Shelter in 2016.
