Estherville Animal Shelter

Animal enthusiasts from Saratoga and the surrounding counties have formed Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E. ), a non-profit group, to help animals whose owners have either died or are no longer able to care for them.

The mission of the privately owned, non-profit, 501c3 Adirondack Rescue-A-Stray Animal Shelter/Rescue, which was founded in 1983, is to save lives and create furever, happy partnerships!

We are a non-profit organization that uses foster care to rescue abandoned and orphaned kittens, pregnant cats, and mama cats with their young.

According to Senior Vice President of Operations Joanne Yohannan, we also operate a no-kill cat rescue and adoption center. "However, we also participate in local adoption events with NCI and support its spay/neuter campaigns to 'stop the torrent' of new litters."

The Animal Protective Foundation supports and defends the relationship between people and animals by giving our neighborhood resources and giving companion animals proper treatment.
