Josephine County Animal Control

We are exactly like you! Shelter Friends is an all-volunteer organization that noticed a need in our community and stepped up to fill it. We began with four people gathering around a kitchen table and have grown to include dozens of volunteers who assist our local shelter animals.

Our rescue operates entirely from foster homes, thus there is no place where people can come to see the animals.

The Rogue Valley Humane Society seeks to prevent pet overpopulation so that there are no longer any homeless animals and provides compassionate care for stray, unwanted, displaced, and abandoned animals.

The Oregon county of Josephine is home to the open-admissions Josephine County Animal Shelter. Our goal is to safeguard the welfare and security of both dogs and people in our neighborhood.
