Dog rescue Paws for the Cause Rescue, INC. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to find homes for abandoned dogs and pups for all kinds of reasons, especially those in public shelters where they are in danger of being put to sleep due to overcrowding.

Since 1956, the Mohawk Valley and the surrounding areas have been served by the non-profit organization The Humane Society of Rome, New York, Inc. All unwanted cats and dogs are given a home, food, and loving care by us.

The City of Utica Department of Animal Control works to ensure that both domestic animals and city residents lead safe and healthy lives.
