Franklin County Humane Society

A managed intake no-kill shelter for dogs and cats is LIFE House for Animals. Our goal is to successfully facilitate animal adoptions, prevent pet overpopulation, educate the public about animal issues, and strengthen the bond between humans and animals.

An organization called Anderson Humane Society, Inc. (AHS) was founded with the goal of helping Anderson County's homeless and abandoned animals.

The purpose of Anderson County Animal Care & Control is to house and care for the animals under its control in a way that promotes humane treatment.

A 501c3 nonprofit animal adoption facility called Woodford Humane Society is situated near Versailles, Kentucky. Since 1975, we have welcomed thousands of animals and provided housing and care for unwanted and homeless pets. We work hard to place them all in decent, devoted homes.

The shelter accepts dogs, cats, and other animals from county and city residents who have a valid ID. We let the general people adopt our animals.

The Quad Cities and adjacent areas are served by the Humane Society of Scott County, a nonprofit animal welfare organization with open admittance and social conscience.
