The Kentucky Dachshund Rescue prevents the euthanasia of Dachshunds and other small breeds by giving them food, medical attention, love, and the necessary time to find a forever home.

The shelter accepts dogs, cats, and other animals from county and city residents who have a valid ID. We let the general people adopt our animals.

For $25 per pet, we provide public microchipping services! They may go in a heartbeat, but you could spend all your time trying to figure out where they are. 90% of lost pets will never be found without proper identification.

A 501c3 nonprofit animal adoption facility called Woodford Humane Society is situated near Versailles, Kentucky. Since 1975, we have welcomed thousands of animals and provided housing and care for unwanted and homeless pets. We work hard to place them all in decent, devoted homes.
