The Haven

A no-kill adoption organization is The Baldwin Humane Society, formerly known as BARC. We were the first animal welfare organization in Baldwin County when we were founded in 1979. Through spaying and neutering, education, rescue, and adoption, we hope to reduce the number of abused and abandoned dogs. We rely only on donations as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and do not receive any financing from the government. Every year, we save, rehab, and place hundreds of mistreated, neglected, and abandoned pets.

Every year, the City of Daphne Animal Shelter takes in between 800 and 1000 animals. Most have either wandered off or been left behind.Adopting a pet from a shelter can provide the animal a fresh start in a caring environment and provide the adopter with a devoted friend. At special events or during kennel hours, you can go see an animal and adopt it.

The county's animal control facility and adoption hub is the Baldwin County Animal Shelter in Baldwin County, Alabama.

Federal recognition for Willow Farms as a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization. Tax deductions apply to all gifts. We are based in Loxley, Alabama, and Mrs. Janet Hein is our director. We have volunteers who come out to help with everything from feeding to working with the horses to playing with the dogs. All of our animals are suited for families and are looking for loving homes!

Greater Mobile is served by the nonprofit organization ARF. Our objective will always be to save as many animals as we can and assist in finding them loving, long-term homes.

The Prichard Animal Shelter in Prichard, Alabama is a shelter for dogs and cats in Mobile County that offers temporary lodging and care for stray, unwanted, and owner-rendered animals. The Prichard Animal Shelter may also provide a wide array of extra services.
