Desert Hot Springs Animal Care and Control

An all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization called Kittyland is committed to saving neglected and abandoned cats. We are a sanctuary where senior, disabled, and unwanted cats are valued and can live out their lives in dignity and peace. We also provide kittens and cats with compassionate care in a secure environment.

The opportunity for dogs and cats to live full and happy lives with devoted pet owners is made possible by providing the space to facilitate adoption. We are a no-kill shelter for animals. in Southern California, the biggest.

The only public shelter in the Coachella Valley that adheres to the no-kill concept is Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) organization (TAX ID 33-0731853) committed to responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment of animals, manages and runs our facility.
