CARES Clarksdale Animal Shelter

In July 2013, Paw Prints Rescue started accepting canines and felines into our facilities. Since then, WE have been overloaded! We accept any and all animals that we are capable of caring for. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, horses, and even a donkey have all been housed by us.

All animals whose lives are in danger, being abused, neglected, or left behind are our top priority. In a world where more than 5 million dogs and cats are put to death annually only because they are deemed "disposable," it is our sincerest hope to see Tunica become a "NO KILL" model community.

The mission of MG Dog Rescue is to rescue dogs and provide them with a temporary home until they are adopted by loving homes. Every year in Shaw, I save many dogs from dangerous situations, and my goal is to make the adoption process speedy so that I can go out and save more lives. As someone who is committed to ending animal cruelty, I think that no companion animal should ever have to be put to death due to a lack of a home.
