Through humane education, animal protection, and community engagement, it is our objective to offer and promote the humane treatment of animals in Oxford.

By offering a home, care, adoption options, and foster homes, we hope to change the tragic future of lost, unloved, and abandoned animals. By promoting spay/neuter and educating the people of our county about the kind and compassionate treatment of animals, we encourage responsible pet ownership.

IDA's Hope Animal Sanctuary has been rescuing, giving shelter to, and advocating for justice for injured animals in rural Mississippi since 1993.

A 501c3 non-profit organization called Clarksdale Animal Rescue Effort & Shelter (CARES) was established with the goal of enhancing the shelter's state and insuring the survival of the animals housed there.

We are a little shelter run by Hernando City. Through spaying/neutering, vaccination, finding suitable homes for stray animals that come into our care, and the enforcement of animal protection legislation, we hope to enhance and safeguard the lives of animals in our city. We defend Hernando residents by upholding local and state regulations pertaining to animals. Making Hernando the most animal-friendly city in northern Mississippi is our main objective.
