Charleston Dog Shelter

A kennel run entirely by volunteers, Almost Home is committed to providing the dogs entrusted to our care with the love, care, and placement they deserve.

Our goal is to offer non-lethal solutions to Fort Smith, Arkansas's population of stray, abandoned, and wild animals. In order to achieve this, we will reunite animals with their owners, adopt out animals to new families, or move animals to various locations where they can be adopted.

The Clarksville Animal Shelter is the place to go if you want to adopt a kitten or a more senior canine. Residents of Clarksville, Arkansas, are invited to this state-licensed animal shelter's cutting-edge facility where they can adopt a variety of cats and dogs.

Since 1997, Needy Paws Animal Shelter, a division of River Valley Humane Society, has offered refuge to ill, hurt, abandoned, and abused animals. We work hard to find healthy, adoptable pets loving, permanent homes as a proud no-kill shelter.

Our mission is to provide each animal under our care with the best possible care, while also making every effort to create a safe, cozy, and healthy environment and open the Shelter to the public.

Animal Services strives to ensure that a high percentage of animals are either adopted into loving families through our City Animal Shelter services or returned to their homes or natural settings.
