The goals of Elmbrook Humane Society are to shelter stray animals, foster human-animal relationships, and stop animal abuse and neglect. Our mission is to be your go-to resource for all of your requirements relating to animals.

Approximately 710,000 strays who enter shelters are reunited with their owners. Only 90,000 of them are cats, and 620,000 of them are dogs.

The Wisconsin Humane Society is dedicated to giving wild and abandoned animals shelter, care, and protection.

Our non-profit organization runs on a foster and volunteer basis with an emphasis on dogs who are at risk of being put down due to being housed in high-kill shelters, overcrowding, abuse and neglect, or owner surrender.

Up until they find their permanent home, our animals are placed in homes with our wonderful volunteers. To meet the demands of our rescue efforts, we are always looking for more foster homes.
