Benson Animal Shelter

The Tombstone Small Animal Shelter is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, no-kill facility devoted to helping dogs and cats that have been abandoned or lost in the Tombstone, Arizona, area find new homes.

c, if necessary, until they are placed in permanent homes, to promote population control of stray cats through a trap/neuter/return (TNR) program, and to promote the welfare of all animals.

The 40 dog kennels in the courtyard of the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center are now completely full after taking in a large number of new dogs in need of homes recently. Adoptions are therefore urgently required to clear animals space in the shelter. This makes it the perfect time to discover a new furry family member because there are so many great dogs to meet!

Animal adoptions, cruelty investigations, picking up stray or injured dogs, as well as other duties involving domestic animals, are handled by the Willcox Animal Control facility.

Our rescue labs are housed in foster homes all over the Tucson and Phoenix metropolitan areas. Only with the kind assistance of our donors and volunteers are we able to perform the life-saving work that we do.

Cats in need are housed, protected, and cared for at the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary. Every cat is adoptable in our eyes, and we think they all deserve to live happy, healthy lives.
