Hermitage Cat Shelter

In Tucson, Arizona, there is a No-Kill cat shelter called PAWSitively Cats. From July 7, 2010, we are a 501(c)3 public charity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, contributions made to PAWSitively Cats are tax deductible.

Our rescue labs are housed in foster homes all over the Tucson and Phoenix metropolitan areas. Only with the kind assistance of our donors and volunteers are we able to perform the life-saving work that we do.

Since 1944, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona has saved more than a million animals. We accept animals from all around Southern Arizona, helping smaller shelters by taking in animals that are difficult to place and animals with critical medical needs—animals that might not otherwise have a shot at life.

Every adoptable animal is guaranteed a home in a shelter that offers adoption guarantees. Animals are only put to death if they are in extreme pain and have no chance of recovery.

With an annual intake of 17,000 pets and a service area of 35,000 cats, dogs, and other animals, Pima Animal Care Center is Southern Arizona's biggest animal services organization.
