Since 1944, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona has saved more than a million animals. We accept animals from all around Southern Arizona, helping smaller shelters by taking in animals that are difficult to place and animals with critical medical needs—animals that might not otherwise have a shot at life.

With an annual intake of 17,000 pets and a service area of 35,000 cats, dogs, and other animals, Pima Animal Care Center is Southern Arizona's biggest animal services organization.
