Our goal is to find adoptable lost, abandoned, or surrendered St. Bernards, rescue them, provide the necessary care and medical attention, including spaying or neutering them, re-socialize them in foster homes, and then place them in long-term adoptive homes where they will be cherished and given the proper care.

One common misconception regarding our shelter system is that if those lovely, little kittens or stray, abandoned cats are brought to an animal shelter, they will be protected, cared for, and adopted out. and regrettably, that is not the situation. In fact, because there are too many animals that end up in shelters, the majority of kittens under 8 weeks old are put to death right away or the same day they are taken in.
