Clermont County Animal Shelter

League for Animal Welfare, a privately funded, nonprofit group that was established in 1949, offers much-needed care for stray, abandoned, and mistreated cats and dogs in our neighborhood.

Incorporated in the State of Ohio in February 1980, Animal Rescue Fund, Inc. is a privately funded, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We run "The Farm," a 17-acre no-kill facility for stray animals, in Amelia.

We work hard to inform the public about correct handling, the value of training, and the commitment they are making to this animal over the long term.

The foundation of our rescue effort is comprised of our devoted volunteers and foster parents. Without them, we couldn't be as successful as we are!

Animals of various species in need of a temporary home and nourishment can find one at the Ohio Pet Sanctuary while they wait for their forever home.

Teams of volunteers care for the animals in two-shift shifts every day, every day of the year, until we can find them permanent, devoted homes.
