League for Animal Welfare, a privately funded, nonprofit group that was established in 1949, offers much-needed care for stray, abandoned, and mistreated cats and dogs in our neighborhood.

Animal care non-profit Volunteers For Animals, Inc. was founded in 1984. With the Genesee County Animal Shelter, we collaborate. In upstate New York, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester is Batavia, where The Shelter is situated.
