Animals of various species in need of a temporary home and nourishment can find one at the Ohio Pet Sanctuary while they wait for their forever home.

5. Save the Animals Foundation

Teams of volunteers care for the animals in two-shift shifts every day, every day of the year, until we can find them permanent, devoted homes.

The lone animal shelter in Hamilton County is run by Cincinnati Animal CARE, which is also in charge of the county's dog warden and animal control operations.

Any animal that enters the shelter receives care from us, including food, medical attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection to help them adjust to their new homes.
