Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) has provided animal sheltering and control services to the Arlington community for more than 75 years, assisting pet owners in keeping their animals healthy, content, and at their homes.

The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation uses rescue and adoption to help homeless animals find their way into loving homes.

The Falls Church Animal Control Officer upholds local, regional, and state animal control ordinances and legislation.

Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) concentrates its efforts on saving at-risk animals from being put to death, neglect, and cruelty. The majority of these creatures originate in Mississippi, where young animals are routinely put to death in the hundreds owing to overcrowding.

We are a non-profit, all-volunteer group that works in the states of Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina to rescue, foster, and place Labrador Retrievers in permanent homes.
