Rompin Paws Rescue emphasizes that rescue a dog from appalling circumstances or from a shelter's death list is insufficient. Our guiding principle is to tackle rescue holistically to complete the circle.

The cats and kittens that need us the most—those that other shelters and rescue organizations might not be able to assist—are our top focus at Purrfect Pals. This includes geriatric cats (though we prefer to refer to them as "vintage"), cats with significant medical requirements, cats with chronic illnesses (such as FIV and feline leukemia), and cats who have behavioral issues.

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) has provided animal sheltering and control services to the Arlington community for more than 75 years, assisting pet owners in keeping their animals healthy, content, and at their homes.

The Second Chance Animal Center, formerly known as the Bennington County Humane Society, was founded in 1959 and is a private, limited-admission, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that caters to the needs of both pet owners and homeless animals in our neighborhood. All towns in Bennington County (Vermont), portions of Washington and Rensselaer Counties in New York State, and northern Berkshire County in Massachusetts are included in our service area.

7. Buddies Place Cat Rescue of Texas

BPCR saves homeless, abandoned, neglected, unloved, or injured cats and kittens as well as cats and kittens that are scheduled for euthanasia. All cats and kittens that enroll in the BPCR program receive emergency medical attention, FeLV and FIV testing, spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and secure shelter until they may be adopted into a permanent home or sanctuary.
