Our rescue offers a safe refuge and adoption service for stray cats and dogs in Washington State, inspired by the extraordinary canine, Rocket. Rocket Rescue is committed to helping abandoned animals find the ideal SPACE.

To provide education programs that raise awareness of humane treatment and the importance of spaying and neutering all animals. To give shelter and care for the unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals. To treat the animals with dignity and respect.

The Skagit Valley and beyond are served by S.P.O.T., a nonprofit, 501(c)3 charitable organization that specializes in companion animal rescue and placement.

Lopez Island's Lopez Animal Protection Society (LAPS) is a nonprofit organization that offers animal adoption and rescue services.

A non-profit group called the Whidbey Animals' Improvement Foundation (WAIF) was established in 1990 with the goal of aiding the stray pets on Whidbey Island. In the interim, until loving homes can be found for the animals, WAIF is committed to giving displaced pets food, shelter, veterinary care, and love.

Old Dog Haven is a small charity organization that helps senior dogs that can't be adopted find loving, safe homes in western Washington by utilizing a broad network of foster homes. We bring these pets into our homes when we have the space and resources to do so.
