Rocket Rescue

To provide education programs that raise awareness of humane treatment and the importance of spaying and neutering all animals. To give shelter and care for the unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals. To treat the animals with dignity and respect.

The Skagit Valley and beyond are served by S.P.O.T., a nonprofit, 501(c)3 charitable organization that specializes in companion animal rescue and placement.

We assist cats and the people who adore them at the Cat's Meow. We offer free spay/neuter services for cats in our neighborhood, a free cat food and litter pantry, a unique cage-free adoption center where we house unwanted cats until they find loving homes, and an indoor/outdoor refuge for wild cats, among other services.

The Whatcom Humane Society holds that all animals should be given legal, moral, and ethical attention and protection since they are sentient beings with value that extends beyond economic considerations.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue, and Cosmo was the very first animal we ever successfully rescued and adopted. Since then, we have rescued hundreds of dogs from high-kill shelters in various states that were on death row.

Through our adoption and low-cost spay/neuter programs, The NOAH Center, a nonprofit animal adoption center and spay/neuter clinic, aims to prevent the killing of healthy, adoptable, and treatable homeless cats and dogs.
