HART for Animals, Inc.

Through adoptions and animal rescues, the Garrett County Animal Shelter seeks to place animals in long-term homes. The facility is a Spay and Neuter Facility.

Every year, the charity offers services, veterinary treatment, education, and shelter to more than 10,000 neighborhood residents and dogs.

There are always great dogs and cats up for adoption at the Allegany County Shelter.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue offers mistreated, neglected, and abandoned dogs a safe haven where they can heal, learn to trust people, and eventually find a forever home.

We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization with an in-home base that is trained in the medical supervision of each kitten that is up for adoption.
