With Jane Pierantozzi at the lead, Faithful Friends was created to campaign for better outcomes for animals who wind up in shelters. Faithful Friends is now dedicated to a concept of No Kill. We aim to put an end to the killing of all animals that aren't in excruciating pain. Our method can save ALL healthy, curable, and trainable animals, resulting in a 90 percent or greater save rate in most areas across the country. Faithful Friends Animal Society is an animal welfare advocate, a homeless pet shelter, a resource for pet owners and colony caretakers, and a ray of hope for our community.

Our hospital has a long history of excellent service, dating back to 1925 as Delaware's longest continually operating small animal veterinary office. Dr. Harvey Fell founded the practice, which was followed in 1956 by Dr. John L. Wilkins, a long-time Wilmington veterinarian, whose son Dr. David Wilkins joined the practice in 1986 and transferred Circle Veterinary Clinic to its current location in 2009.
