When I was injured while playing volleyball in 1993, I was introduced to holistic remedies for the first time. I wasn't recovering as quickly as I'd want - in fact, I was worried I'd never fully recover - so when a buddy advised acupuncture, I was eager to give it a shot. I was astounded by how comfortable I felt during and after the treatment, as well as the speed with which the results appeared. I quickly regained full mobility and was able to resume my previous level of activity. Acupuncture led me to homeopathy, which prompted me to investigate a wide range of holistic medical options. After witnessing so many examples of holistic medicine's therapeutic power, I decided to include it into my practice.
