Dr. Campabadal has always aspired to be a veterinarian since she was a child. She was constantly rescuing stray dogs and cats, caring for and feeding them. She worked for a few years after graduation at a thoroughbred farm in Panama before opening her own mobile practice in Costa Rica, where she cared for cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. For a while, she was also a member of the Costa Rica Veterinary Medical Examining Board.
