We are a full-service veterinary hospital, and we are honored to be recognized as a leader in veterinary excellence, an honor bestowed upon only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada. Our hospital provides a wide range of comprehensive services to assist and preserve the health of your animal pals. Wellness examinations and lab work, radiography and specialist surgery, as well as dental treatment, are just a few of the services we provide. Vaccinations and parasite prevention are also available, as well as acupuncture, cold laser therapy, routine examinations, geriatric care, and much more.

In 1981, The Country Vet opened as a big and small animal practice. The practice shifted its concentration to small animal medicine in the late 1980s, gradually transitioning from the home it began in to the hospital it is today. In addition to a distinctive pastoral atmosphere, our hospital is unusual in that we not only use the most up-to-date technology and equipment as diagnostic instruments, but we also provide a variety of alternative therapies and holistic approaches to complement standard Western medicine. This creates an environment where developments from all sides of the veterinary medical spectrum are regularly integrated.

San Marin Animal Hospital was purchased by Bennett and Williams Veterinary Corporation in early May 2015. It is a friendship between two veterinarians that began in 2002. Dr. Jeff Williams met Dr. Erin Bennett while working as a technician for him at a southern Marin veterinary clinic. Bennett was inspired to become a veterinarian by Williams, as fate would have it. They eventually teamed up after all these years. Dr. Monica Ortiz and Dr. Polly James, fortunately, shared their vision and gladly agreed to join them at San Marin Animal Hospital!

We offer a wide range of comprehensive veterinarian services to keep your pets healthy, from wellness examinations and immunizations to dental care and elder care, as a full-service animal hospital. Surgical procedures are also available to address a variety of ailments and conditions.

For almost ten years, we have been custom manufacturing medicines for animals throughout California. Our main goal is to create high-quality bespoke compounds that cater to the needs of both pets and their owners.Veterinary compounding is a specialty for our pharmacists and lab technicians.The Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) has given us national recognition as a pharmacy that satisfies high quality and safety standards. We are just the tenth pharmacy in the state of California to be awarded this honor.
