The compassionate staff at McPherson Veterinary Clinic has been serving the residents of McPherson, Kansas and their pets with the best veterinary care available since it first opened its doors in 1952. The clinic's essential values—providing high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate setting with a professional, caring, and highly trained staff—haven't altered much over the years, despite the fact that the clinic has undergone significant changes.

Our goal is to "compassionately serve our clients by giving the family pet with high-quality surgery and medication." Neil Walker, DVM founded Southview Veterinary Hospital in 1969 and later sold it to his younger brother, Brad Walker, DVM, in 1980. In order to realize her lifelong dream of having a small animal practice that takes care of household pets, Misti May, DVM, bought the business in 2002. To better care for her children, Caroline and Andrew, Misti relocated to McPherson.

Here at Smokey Valley Animal Hospital, welcome (formerly Countryside Animal Clinic). We are a full-service medical and surgical hospital for both small and large animals. providing veterinary services both in-hospital and on-farm (mobile).

We work Monday through Saturday by appointment. Sorry, but we are unable to accept walk-ins at our practice. We give 24 hour access to emergency care...for our CURRENT PATIENTS ONLY. Complete veterinarian medical care for all dogs, cats, and other small companion animals.
