Since April 2010, when Spay And Neuter of the Desert Society (S.A.N.D.S.) was granted 501(c) (3) non-profit status, we have assisted responsible owners in sterilizing over 3500 dogs and cats, both domestic and feral. This has prevented the unintended births of 60,000 pups and kittens over a five-year period, which would have added to Imperial County's already-increasing number of abandoned or euthanized pets.
The Desert Spay and Neuter Society is excited to continue working with the El Centro Animal Clinic and the Desert Veterinary Group. Individual donations enable Imperial County residents to participate in these crucial low-cost spay and neuter programs.
