Dr. Charles Horton founded Northway Animal Hospital on Cook Avenue, opposite from "The Mall," in 1967. Dr. Rip Patton took over Northway in 1994 after working for Dr. Horton in high school, graduating from veterinary school, and practicing for 6 years in Huntsville. He has since enjoyed caring for household pets in the area.
