In 2003, Animal Health & Rehab Center was established. It is the only Animal Rehabilitation Clinic in Miami and one of the first in South Florida. Our freestanding building, which was built in 1954, represents the attractiveness of Miami architecture. It has been an animal clinic since its inception.

Dr. Juan S. Colom owns and operates the Universal Animal Clinic. Dr. Colom earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Florida, as well as his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. Since 2006, he has been practicing in Orlando and Central Florida.

As a new client of Animal Hospital at Vista Lakes, you can expect us to give your pets our undivided attention. After checking in your pet, you will be greeted pleasantly and brought into an examination room for your appointment. In most circumstances, one of our veterinary technicians will begin by obtaining information for the doctor by inquiring about your pet's medical history, present condition, and the purpose for your appointment. Then one of our veterinarians will inspect your pet, ask you additional questions, and, if necessary, suggest diagnostic testing.
