In 1994, Dr. Forrest Townsend founded Bayside Hospital for Animals with the aid of his wife Sally. We are a full-service small animal veterinarian hospital that provides medical, surgical, and dental care to our patients.Through in-house testing and the utilization of other laboratories, we offer a wide range of diagnostic procedures. A well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capability, and a closely supervised hospitalization area are all available at the institution. When specific diagnostic methods are required, we can also undertake ultrasonography, endoscopic, and ECG tests. Our facility is an official preceptor/externship hospital for the Schools of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University and the University of Florida, providing learning opportunities for veterinary students.
