Dr. Kelly Regan, the owner, graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She worked at Midtown for many years as a veterinary technician before purchasing the business from Dr. Cliff Gravem in mid-2017. She is excited to carry on the Midtown heritage of providing outstanding care and compassion to all patients.

Acorn Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital that treats dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. Through in-house testing and the utilization of other laboratories, we offer a wide range of diagnostic procedures. When unique diagnostic procedures are required, we collaborate closely with local referral offices. A well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray facilities, a tightly supervised hospitalization area, and indoor hospital kennels with outside walking areas are all available at our facility.

For patients with dogs, cats, and small animals as pets, Davis offers high-quality, focused health and wellness treatment. With a full-service medical center that provides common procedures like routine vaccinations, microchipping, dental and surgical care, and more, our doctors and staff are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and preventive health care.

The Animal Wellness Center is a full-service veterinary facility with an Eastern and Western pharmacy, a cutting-edge surgery suite, on-site x-ray facilities, and a Companion Therapeutic Class IV Laser. In August of 2001, Dr. Kris Dailey founded Animal Wellness Center. In the greater Sacramento area, our integrative approach to animal health is unique. We think that no single school of thought has all the answers, which is why we offer an integrated approach to animal health at Animal Wellness Center. Animals are unique individuals, and we wish to treat them as such. We collaborate with board-certified surgeons, radiologists, and cardiologists in addition to our integrative therapy choices. Our mission is to offer your pet with the greatest Eastern and Western treatment possible.

To carry out this purpose, we focus on students in our professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine program, graduate clinical residency program and graduate academic MS and PhD programs. The School of Veterinary Medicine serves the people of California by delivering educational, research, clinical service, and public service programs of the highest quality to promote the health and care of animals, the health of the environment, and public health, and to contribute to the economy.
