Dr. Michel Hardaker has owned and run Central Veterinary Hospital since it opened in 1982 in the middle of downtown Albany. Since then, our team of highly skilled veterinarians, technicians, and administrators has continued to provide our clients with excellent service every single day.

With one full-time and two part-time veterinarians on staff, we aim to offer individualized care for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and the occasional "pocket pet." It was Dr. Carmichael and Dr. McDaniel's dream to establish a two-doctor small animal hospital when Sand Creek Animal Hospital first opened its doors in January 2002. However, as time went on, they realized they couldn't turn away more clients and patients, so they gradually expanded the practice to include Dr. Sonnekalb as a partner. Today, Sand Creek Animal Hospital has six veterinarians on staff.

As one of the first hospitals to join the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), Colonie Animal Hospital adheres to their strict standards for high-quality medical care. Colonie Animal Hospital was founded in 1940. The hospital contains a full laboratory and pharmacy as well as x-ray and surgical areas. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures can be handled within the hospital.
