 She believed she had the drive, local focus, and expertise to establish a Park City option for pet care requirements because she had lived in Park City since 1983, completed her undergraduate requirements at Westminster College, and then earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Utah. She was adamant from the start that the company she wanted to start would offer the high quality products and services frequently associated with smaller businesses.
The Barking Cat's doors officially opened to the public in July 2014, making Merridee's dreams come true.
