We started out as a modest shop in Mar Vista at 4307 Centinela Avenue. Al Barnes, co-owner of the Carson and Barnes circus, intended to build his own city in 1926. The municipal hall for Barnes City was the site of Centinela Feed's future headquarters. Barnes City was only around for a year before it was annexed by Los Angeles. But it was long enough for the structure to be designated as a historical landmark.

There is no added sugar, fillers, or animal by-products, and we never use corn, wheat, soy, or colors, making it ideal for animals with allergies. Pet Wants is a locally owned and operated business that provides free, personal delivery of all of our items, including dog and cat food, healing salve, relaxing balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax, and other pet supplies.
