East Manchester Township, in Emigsville, is home to John C. Rudy County Park. Pavilions, sports fields, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, open recreational space, a cross-country running trail, a BMX track, and the famed Canine Meadows Off-Leash Dog Area are all part of the 150-acre park. It also houses the Parks Administrative Offices, which are housed in a 1798 stone house, as well as the maintenance headquarters and a variety of other structures. George B. Rudy and Viola Rudy Williams donated the land in 1973 in remembrance of their grandparents, John and Mary Rudy.
