Dog Park Locations

Ahuska Park is located south of Roselawn Cemetery, between East Broadway and the Beltline. The Beltline and Monona Drive are both easily accessible from this 22-acre park. It hosts a weekly Farmers' Market on Sunday mornings from May through October, as well as the Dane County Veterans' Memorial.

On the west side of the lake, near to the tiny boat launch, there is an unfenced off-leash dog park. The parking area at the west entrance leads to the dog park and the boat launch. Gas motors are not permitted on Indian Lake; however, electric motors are permitted.

A playground, a boat launch, tennis/pickleball courts, and other amenities are available at this 37-acre lakeside park.

Enjoy your time at this park! Paunack Park, located on the beaches of Lake Monona, offers canoe and kayak storage, a shelter, playground equipment, and basketball courts, among other amenities.

This huge park, which borders Hiestand Woods Conservation Park, has a variety of leisure opportunities. A disc golf course is available from spring to fall, and the park also has a reservable athletic field, a reservable picnic shelter with solar lights, and a bike route that connects the park to the surrounding neighborhood.

This park does not allow alcohol. See Madison General Ordinance 8.24 for further information. You must have an alcohol permission to bring alcohol into this park, which may be obtained through the Parks Administrative Office.

The McFarland Dog Park, located in Urso Park and accessible from Elvehjem Road, first opened its doors in 2009.
Despite being in Dane County, this park is not part of the Dane County Dog Park system. This park requires a special permission as well as a municipal dog license.

A multi-use field, basketball courts, and access to the Yahara River bike path are all available at this waterfront park.
