Buccaneer State Park

The dog park's rules are posted, and they include: Use park at your own risk. At all times, owners are legally accountable for their dog(s)' behavior. When entering and exiting the park, dogs must be on a leash.

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks' objective is to maintain and enhance Mississippi's wildlife, fisheries, and parks, while also providing great outdoor recreation and educating the public about natural resource conservation.

The Hub City Humane Society is dedicated to caring for homeless, neglected, and abused animals with compassion. We were fortunate in obtaining No-Kill designation, making us one of the few No-Kill shelters in Mississippi. We endeavor to provide the best possible care for our community's homeless and abandoned pets.

Over 800 acres of camping, swimming, boating, fishing, and other activities are available at this state park with lake.
