Dog Park Locations

If a day by the river seems like your idea of heaven, don't miss a visit to The Yards Park Dog Run! This pawsitively wonderful recreational area is housed within a pawblic park known simply as "Yards Park," and it sits directly on the shore, affording pawrific views of the Anacostia River. The focal point of the Capitol Riverfront is Yards Park, which includes a dog run. The park is located to the south of Capitol Hill and on the eastern side of Nationals Ball Park, making it quite easy to discover.

Although the region is largely left alone, there is an off-leash dog park. The park is partially gated and located directly on the slough, with plenty of open room for dogs and their owners to run about in.

Dakota Memorial Park, part of Pacific Community Park in NE Vancouver, is a huge 7-acres of flat open fields with gravel walking routes. Double-gated entrances, a half-mile trail, a small dog area, seats, drinking fountains for dogs and humans, a dog rinse-off facility, on-site facilities, and shady spots are among the other amenities.

The Off-Leash Dog Park is about three-quarters of an acre in size and located in the woods of Terrace Creek Park, northeast of the Recreation Pavilion. It is totally enclosed, with a double gate system, benches, an information kiosk, and a trash can.

DOGPAW is a non-profit organization in Clark County, Washington that operates four off-leash dog parks. Dog parks are an important component of our community's quality of life because they provide spaces for dogs and their owners to run, walk, play, and grow. Taking your dog outside will make you both happier and healthier!

For more than 70 years, the Port of Portland has been a cornerstone of transportation and economic development in the Columbia Gorge. We provide access to commercial and industrial facilities, as well as shovel-ready property, sophisticated communications infrastructure, and road, rail, and river transportation to businesses of all kinds.

DOGPAW is incredibly fortunate to be able to use public land for our parks, and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to the City of Vancouver, Clark County, and BPA for allowing us to do so! Without their generous support, our parks would not exist.

Dogs can run free on gorgeous trails and swim in the pond on this expansive 40-acre countryside.

In 2008-09, the Greater Clark Parks District developed around 70 acres of this 240-acre park as part of its plans.
