The Carter Neighborhood of downtown Vancouver is served by this small, 0.7-acre park. Carter Park's playground equipment was updated in 2012 thanks to a grant from the city's Community Development Block Grant program. These monies will be utilized to improve public facilities that are now inaccessible to people with impairments. The new equipment complies with current American with Disabilities Act (ADA) criteria while also bringing entertaining and safe play equipment to the playground!

This appears to be a vacant lot at first impression. You can find trails through a forested area and an orchard towards the back of the field. I observed deer in the orchard the first couple of times I went to the location. The north side of the fence has a gap that provides deer easy access to the orchard.
