Eckington Dog Park

If a day by the river seems like your idea of heaven, don't miss a visit to The Yards Park Dog Run! This pawsitively wonderful recreational area is housed within a pawblic park known simply as "Yards Park," and it sits directly on the shore, affording pawrific views of the Anacostia River. The focal point of the Capitol Riverfront is Yards Park, which includes a dog run. The park is located to the south of Capitol Hill and on the eastern side of Nationals Ball Park, making it quite easy to discover.

A communal garden, dog run, and picnic tables are featured in this rolling neighborhood green space.

Bring Fido to Lansburgh Dog Park to play! The Dog Park is fenced and divided into large and small dog spaces. Waste bags, bowls, and water for dogs are all provided. Lansburgh Dog Park is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
