Buttonwoods Beach

A dog park situated amid sporting fields in the city's favorite park. Large and tiny dogs have their own places. Mostly dirt and sand, with some grass and trees thrown in for good measure. Humans need chairs and benches.

Three baseball fields, picnic spots and shelters, three miles of paved cycling routes, and restrooms are all available at this beach park.

A riverfront park with benches, a breakwater, a boat launch, a small playground, and scenic views is available.

Following the establishment of the SUFA Facility in Westerly, SUFA aimed to expand its objective of assisting and enhancing the lives of animals, particularly those in shelters.

The Portsmouth Dog Park's objective is to support the upkeep and improvement of the Portsmouth Dog Park, as well as to promote visitor safety, responsible dog ownership, and programs that promote education, training, and well-behaved dogs.

Our dog park is now open, thanks to the Warren Parks and Recreation Department. When our furry four-legged friends and neighbors meet at the park, they will be able to enjoy each other's companionship. There are two separate fenced areas, one for little dogs and the other for large dogs.
