Buttonwoods Beach

A dog park situated amid sporting fields in the city's favorite park. Large and tiny dogs have their own places. Mostly dirt and sand, with some grass and trees thrown in for good measure. Humans need chairs and benches.

Three baseball fields, picnic spots and shelters, three miles of paved cycling routes, and restrooms are all available at this beach park.

A riverfront park with benches, a breakwater, a boat launch, a small playground, and scenic views is available.

Following the establishment of the SUFA Facility in Westerly, SUFA aimed to expand its objective of assisting and enhancing the lives of animals, particularly those in shelters.

The Waterman St. Dog Park is a community-based group dedicated to providing a natural, unrestricted area for dogs to run, train, and interact in for responsible pet owners. In addition, the Park acts as a community resource for inhabitants of all ages, educating them about the positive effects of animal companionship in everyday life.

A boating ramp, bicycle track, playing fields, and a seasonal farmer's market are all located on the bayside.
