In St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Dog Mountain is situated on 150 acres on a mountaintop. People and their dogs are always welcome on the premises. Hiking routes and dog ponds abound in this pristine paradise. Dogs are not only welcome, but also cherished!

The purpose of Newport Parks & Recreation is to provide a diverse range of high-quality recreational options to residents of Newport through facilities and programs, and to improve the quality of life for people of all ages.

Our goal is to keep a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved dogs can exercise in a clean, safe area without risking or bothering humans, property, or wildlife. To keep a lovely environment open to all dog lovers and companions who are willing to follow the park's rules and regulations. To see this park as a community project developed in collaboration with the Town of Derby to meet the requirements of both dog owners and non-dog owners.

The Middlebury Dog Park on Collins Drive is a 1.5-acre park with separate spaces for little and large dogs. It is a volunteer-run park that is entirely funded by donations.

The Town of Manchester's Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of activities for people of all ages, as well as community events such as concerts and festivals, and manages five parks, the largest of which is Dana L. Thompson Memorial Park, popularly known as the Rec. Residents of the neighborhood park.

This park, which is located on Lake Champlain, offers a rocky swimming beach, sports facilities, and a playground.

Nothing fancy, but enough of room for dogs to run about off-leash and enjoy the view of the lake.

The 22-acre park is a terrific place to see a baseball game in the spring, a football game in the fall, and ride the Rec in the winter. In the summer, a path leads directly from the parking lot. Your family can picnic on the playground or take a walk through the woods on the pedestrian pathways. Farrell Park is a licensed park allowing organized groups to use the grounds and open area.
