1. Tok River State Recreation Site

At state parks and campgrounds, pets must be leashed and accompanied by their owners at all times; unleashed dogs are permitted in the wilderness but must be under voice direction. If you have a pet, please clean up after it. Within 100 feet of a cabin, sled dogs and horses should not be tied. The site is located on the Alaska Highway at mile 1309, 4.5 miles east of Tok. There are 43 campsites available, with ten of them capable of accommodating motorhomes up to 60 feet in length. A picnic shelter, drinking water, a walking track, a telephone, and latrines are among the amenities.
2. Eagle Trail State Recreation Site

If you have a pet, please clean up after it. Within 100 feet of a cabin, sled dogs and horses should not be tied. A one-mile nature trail and a 2.5-mile hiking track with a view of the Tok River Valley are available to visitors to this 280-acre park. Most highway drivers will have their first taste of the Alaska Range on the Eagle Trail SRS. In the Tok Trophy Sheep Management Area, an eight-hour climb up the adjacent creek takes backpackers within close range of Dall sheep.
