122. Lufkin Dog Park

Canyon Run Dog Park in Lubbock, Texas, welcomes dogs to join their owners. A 2.64-acre large dog park for dogs 30 pounds and over is available, as well as a 1.02-acre little dog area for dogs under 30 pounds. You and your dog can enter the park through the double gates, where you'll find sidewalks, a restroom, benches to sit on while your dog plays, covered benches on hot days, shade trees, and water fountains for when your dog gets too hot. Canyon Run Dog Park was open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday.

Two dog parks can be found on Paul Boorman Trail. One is next to the parking lot and has a small and huge part. If you keep walking on the route, you'll come across another area for dogs to play that is shaded by several trees. Dog owners are encouraged to pick up after their pets while they play in the gated areas. The parks are open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day of the week.

This is a well-kept park with a variety of facilities, including hike/jog routes through south Texas bush terrain with a rich flora and fauna. A lovely public pool with a racquetball court is located next to the park.

128. K9 Kimmie's Corner Dog Park

It's named after K-9 Kimmie, a Laredo Police Department explosive detection K-9 who was found abandoned by an officer. Kimmie became a certified police dog after a year in 2005.

129. Duko's Dog Park

A new dog park in North Central Park is named after one of the city's most famous canines.

The green space at North Central is known as Duko Park.

CBP deployed Duko as one of the first canines to assist in the identification of narcotics and people smuggling attempts.

130. Vishal Raju Bhagat Memorial Dog Park

With a fence around the perimeter, the park is split into two sections: large dogs and little dogs. Shade, water fountains for dogs and their owners, and agility courses are available in both sections of the park. Kingsville City Commissioner Dianne Leubert remarked, "This is an essential item for the city."
