This lovely park on Staten Island's northeastern shore provides visitors one of the city's most gorgeous views. The park is recognized for its gently sloping hills and abundant trees, including red oaks, horsechestnuts, and tulip trees, and is popular with runners and dog owners alike.

This parkland has existed for longer than the surrounding street of the same name. There is no information about the name's origin. Ida Court and the surrounding parklands were purchased as part of the Richmond Parkway Outerbridge Crossing to the Cloves Lake Expressway land purchase.

Heritage structures, large lawn areas, multi-use walkways, and a playground may all be found in this waterfront park.
