Kitun Dog Park is a four-acre fenced-in park where dogs can run free. The park is divided into two distinct sections. Large dogs have a 2.5-acre space, small dogs have a 1.25-acre area, and training dogs have a.25-acre area.

In August of 2003, the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association (SNIA) inaugurated the Shaw Dog Park. The idea is to provide a safe and secure environment for pets to mingle and exercise, as well as to improve city living and bring neighbors together.
